The program currently has 4 x MS Specialists on road, each managing a nominated territory in their respective states ¬– NSW, Vic, WA and Qld – covering 4 major specialty retail chains of JB Hi Fi, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith and The Good Guys. Increasing Retail Sales Person knowledge with basic, intermediate and advanced training of Microsoft products at both one-on-one level and by leveraging Retailer Group training opportunities for one-to-many training.
The Specialists are building strong rapport with RSP’s, Department Managers and Store Managers to maximise Microsoft brand advocacy, and through these relationships have been able install demonstration software on authorised PC’s to promote benefits of Microsoft products and enhance experience. There have been some real wins here, particularly with those Retailers who initially resisted the installation of the demo software.
These strong relationships have also meant that we have been able to dive on-line training with RSP’s and further promote other on-line communication channels including social media, forums etc.
Currently the MS Specialists are averaging approximately 220 Training instances per month.
