The hero television commercial was supported with a number of pieces of video content utilising outtakes from the shoot- interviews with the stars of the show voiced over by famous New Zealand comedians. It also played a key role in developing a social community of Tux lovers.
Herding Cats successfully put Tux back on the radar of the urban consumer and drove positive growth in all key measures. Importantly, it also reignited the rural communities love of the brand. Herding Cats was judged to be New Zealand’s most popular television commercial of 2014 by Colmar Brunton.
